| NOTICE ***** Cleo is located in Tulsa Oklahoma special arrangements would have to be made for adoptions out of state. ******* What a sweet little lovable girl! Cleo is a very small 8 pound, red, smooth coat, female about 3 years old. She was found abandoned and living in a dumpster, so she really loves to see you when you come home from work. She has a bit of anxiety when left alone but is improving day to day. She is trained to sleep in a crate and loves to sleep under a blanket but I am sure she would love to sleep in the big bed! She is very good about pottying outside and learned to use a doggie door in 2 days just by watching other dogs. She gets along well with my dogs but wants to play and they do not like to play. She would do well with another playmate or all alone. I have not had her around cats or children so I do not know how she would react. She would want to play with a cat. She loves to chase squirrels in the yard. Cleo had a dry eye when she came to me but with drops her eye is healing nicely. I will know soon if it was just infected or if she will need eye drops a couple of times a day to keep her eye from drying. Cleo was also heartworm positive and has finished heartworm treatments we are waiting on her last heartworm free test and she will be right as rain before she can be adopted. She will also need to be spayed before adoption. Cleo thinks she is the biggest dog in the house and is a bit aggressive when feeding so she eats in a crate - now all you have to do is get her bowl and she runs into the crate waiting for you to deliver her dinner. Cleo is an alpha female and if she is to have a brother or sister we would need to have them meet before adoption could be approved. I am working on her alpha behavior and she is progressing well but still has a bit of street dog in her attitude. Cleo also loves her doggie bed and carries it all over the house then back into the crate to sleep. She loves some good lap time too! Cleo is an adult and her adoption fee is $275. Cleo is located in Oklahoma and any out of state travel will need to be approved and arranged.
