| Lola is a special dachshund who came from a hearing impaired family. She knows lots of sign language and tricks. Her family could not afford to keep Lola and needed to travel for work and could not afford to have her vetted and boarded. She is a lovely girl that is used to being an only dog and was very nervous coming home with me but my two resident doxies gave her some space and she was going in and out with them by the end of the day. She learns really quickly and was enjoying walks by the first day. She does not know how to share and is very bowl aggressive and thinks she needs to "own" her bowl. She will need a very doxie savy home to continue to work with her bowl issues. She was papertrained in her previous home and would go outside but at my house she has not had one accident and is going outside but will need to be closely watched in a new home until she has the schedule down pat. She would be great as an only dog or with another layed back dog, she is learning quickly in my home to enjoy the company of my two doxies but they are also layed back and easy going gals. Lola is very slim and sleek with the prettiest long doxie back and her legs are a little longer than most which just adds to her elegant appearance.
