Biography

Me and my buddy Joey were dumped in the middle of a cold night into the outdoor collection box at a northern KY shelter. I am up to date on my vaccines and spayed.
I have no history but my foster mom has pieced together some things. She thinks I have been mistreated. I cower at loud voices. I am shy, but I am coming out of my shell and becoming my mom's shadow. I love to play near her when she is working or on the computer and I follow her everywhere. House training is going well - I think I am getting the hang of house and crate training, but as you know, dachshunds are rarely perfect. I love to sleep in the big bed with mom! Other dogs and even cats are acceptable. I would like a buddy dog though. I like to explore outside and bark at the squirrels, except in this deep snow. I walk nicely on a leash and I am very affectionate - I love to give kisses. I haven’t met young kids yet but older ones would probably be fine, say over 6 or so. I would love to be your true love! My adoption fee is $275.
