| Hi my name is Wilhelm, but foster mom calls me Silly Willie! I am just the sweetest guy. I want to relax with you on the couch. However, just because my back legs don't work, don't think I am just one big couch potato!!! Just put me in my cart and watch me go!!! I have had foster mom chasing me, tee hee hee. I also get around really well in the house without my cart. You see, we dogs don't worry about what we don't have, we just go, go, go. My back went bad about two years ago and my Dad arranged for an operation at the Virginia Tech Vet School. I haven't walked yet, but there's always hope. I also can't control when I pee or poop, but my foster mom can teach you some easy ways to handle those issues. I get along well with all the dogs in my foster home, love to greet all visitors, and am just the grandest fellow. I am neutered, have all my vaccinations, and am on heart worm and flea prevention. Guess what, I am going to college!!! Well I am taking part in a research study at the NC State Vet School. Maybe I will be able to walk again, who knows. They all love me at the Vet School. I am such a good boy. Trust me, even if I never walk again, I will be the best friend you could ever want. |
