| Hi I'm Buddy. I used to live outside in someone's backyard, they turned me and the 4 other dogs I lived with in to the shelter. Then my foster mom sprung me and life has been getting better ever since. I was really scared and timid at first. My foster mom and dad think that it was because I didn't get love and attention at my old house so I didn't know how to be held. I wanted to be loved and touched and cuddled, but I was afraid. Now I even let strangers pet me. I have come a long way, but I still get scared occaisionally. I love to cuddle. I am doing well housetraining but in typical doxie fashion I sometimes make a mistake. I am crate trained. I need someone who will be patient and build trust with me. Mostly I need lots of love which I will happily return. Could you be my new forever home? Oh by the way I don't have a tail. My foster parents keep asking what happened to it, but I'm not telling. It doesn't bother me or my foster parents, so it shouldn't bother you. Besides instead of wagging my tail, I just wag my whole butt |
