| Rocky was surrendered by his owners to a very high kill shelter in Southern MD. Rocky was very skinny and had a rotten mouth. He has had a dental and is UTD on shots. Rocky will be neutered before he is placed in a new forever home. Foster Dad calls me Rickety Rock. Foster Mom calls me Rocha Boy; I guess because I am very slow and wobbly when I walk and I still fall down at times. I can get back up most of the time but on the ocassion I need a little help. I am not Speedy Gonzales here but I can hold my own now. I do not do stairs and need to be carried in and out to go potty. I have made a lots of progress since coming to my foster home. I am potty trained and I do very well because I get to stay out all day with the other dogs here.I would prefer (but not necessary) to go to a home with carpeted floors because I can walk much faster and confident. I can walk on wood floors and such though but I will fall down at times(I do it just fine in my foster home). You and I could just sit on the couch with my blanket, have a couple snacks and relax. I love my Blankie. I have not been tested with cats but I don’t mind the other five dogs here and Foster Mom thinks I would probably care less of a cat(s). I don’t like when the other dogs move real fast around me or wag their tails around my face. I will close my eyes and try and get out of the way. I would prefer kids of at least 9yrs or older. Don't you have a place for me in your heart and home??? |
