| Granny December 14, 2009 Dumped in a shelter at the age of twelve Like placing a canister on a shelve My owner probably passed away Or went into a nursing home to stay Whatever the reason It was not a nice season Then came DRNA and Christmas was saved I hope and pray that I am not naïve After a year in foster care I still seek a home I can share With someone that will love me Someone that will let me, be me I know I sometime miss the pee pad And sometimes I am just sad But most days are good and I am happy And I am certainly to proud to be yappy Now dinner time is another thing For food or treats I can sing I am a little stiff around the crust So ramps and stairs are a must I really don’t require much Just a soft bed and a light touch Food for my belly and exercise to keep me healthy, wealthy and wise. P.S. I love my pearls! Description: Granny don't mind other dogs as long as they leave her be, kids that are nice and pet her but no running and rough stuff. People are great and she likes to be close. She is house trained and will ask to go out but can't always wait till you get to the door but will use a pee pad. Ginger is great she just needs a nice quiet home to retire. She uses the stair and ramps to get on the couch and the big bed. |
