Biography

Hi everyone!!

I’m Blue Daisy but most people call me Daisy. I’m a Dachshund mix, well I’m not too sure maybe Chihuahua or some have said Italian Greyhound, but who cares, I am what I am and I’m very sweet. I think I’m about 4 or 5 years old but not totally sure as I was very young when I was born and I can’t remember when it was!! Ok so you want to know some more about me I guess. Well I’m at a foster home at the moment which I share with 3 other dogs, an Aussie Shepherd, a Sheltie and another Dachshund, and 2 cats oh and, of course, my foster Mom and Dad. Well they’re all great and I get on really well with all the other animals, I love cleaning my friend the Dachshund all over. When I first came here I was very nervous of everything and everyone, especially Dad, but now I’m really fine with it all. In fact it only took a few days for me to settle in. My Dad takes me for 2 walks each day as I’m a bit tubby, I think I just look that way as my legs are short. Dad says I’m really, really good to take for a walk as I am well mannered and don’t pull. There were some things I didn’t like too much like manhole covers, storm drains etc but Dad has coaxed over these and now I don’t bother about them at all. Sometimes when I’m out with the other dogs and they don’t like something it’s me that leads them over. I’m used to going out in the yard with the other dogs but I will go potty on the lead. I am still quite nervous about meeting new people but I am getting better with this. If they don’t make eye contact with me at 1st and feed me some treats I soon come round. The worst I’m likely to do is scuttle off and hide somewhere. Once I get to know you, I’ll give you lots and lots of loving and puppy kisses. I’ve been to shopping malls and walked around meeting different people and I wasn’t too bad at all – a bit shy but then that’s me at first. I really love my home here but I know it’s not permanent and I’d really love to have a nice, forever home. So, if you think I sound like the dog for you (I really am very, very sweet!!), please get in touch with Auntie Pam so she can organize it for us to meet up.

Bye for now……

Daisy.
