| We think Matthew is about 12 months old. He is such a sweet boy and loves to gallop everywhere. He loves everyone and is curious. He's still got enough puppy in him to get himself into trouble so he needs to be supervised. When Matthew came to us he did not have a name, was injured and 1/2 an hour away from being euthanized due to his injuries. He was seen flying out a car window, then hit by a vehicle on the highway. He suffered multiple leg fractures. His fractures were surgically repaired with screws. During his recovery period, he never whimpered or cried. He was such a good patient and we know he had to be in a lot of pain. Thankfully he is fully recovered now however his rear legs no longer bend at then knee. Matthew can walk and run but without the ability to bend his rear legs, will need to be carried up and down stairs. |
